Not YOU of course, You are awesome – I mean the (other) person reading this. In today’s society it seems we can get caught up on being interesting than (interested.) Whether it’s a social media post about our breakfast, or the rant around bathroom etiquette. Sometimes – we can place the spotlight on ourselves more than the folks standing right in front of us. Napoleon Hill once said that a major cause of failure came down to the inability to get along with other people. Perhaps the key to gaining people’s attention is to first gain their trust. We do this by engaging in two-way conversations, rather than holding our tongue until it’s our turn to speak.
Note: If we cannot find a friend to engage in a captivated dialogue…than the answer may be clear – We need new friends.
